Colorado Springs Tea Party Rally...

This was a pretty straight forward political rally. There was a group that moved along the outer edges shouting, "We love Obama!" at one point to which the crowd responded with, "U.S.A., U.S.A., U.S.A." That was it as far as any sort of drama and it was very short lived. The majority of the speakers spoke about the next election and how we can turn things in this country around. It was nothing like what you hear about in relation to Tea Party events.

Re: Lady Liberty in chains with "Enslaved by debt" sign.

I hope she and other tea party people acknowledge that most of America's Federal debt problems started under Reagan and continued under both Bushes.

So yes, do blame Obama for some of the debt problems but place most of the blame on the irresponsible policies of the GOP.

I think President Jefferson would be proud of the Tea Party participants.

I find the message of the Tea Party childish. I have yet to hear which parts of government they would like to keep and which they want to remove.

I have a dream. That Earnest Tea Party members stop being pawn of billionaires like the Koch brothers and join forces with the "Occupy Wall Street" movement to really take back our country from the plutocrats who now own both parties. "Free market" capitalism is a sham, because it there is nothing free about it for most us (the 99%); it is device to further the plutocracy that plunders our planet.
